The petitioners have filed the present petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 [“BNSS”] (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 [“CrPC”]) seeking quashing of FIR No. 0003/2022 dated 05.01.2022, registered at P.S. Inder Puri, Delhi, for offences punishable under Sections 498A/406/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 [“IPC”], on the ground that the

parties have arrived at an amicable settlement.

2. The aforesaid FIR was registered at the instance of respondent No. 2, the wife of petitioner No. 1. Petitioner Nos. 2 and 3 are the mother-in- law and father-in-law of respondent No. 2, respectively, while petitioner

No. 4 is her sister-in-l
