1. The present application has been filed on behalf of the

appellant under Section 430 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking interim suspension of sentence for a period of 30 days on the ground of the death anniversary of his father and mother coming up on 15.01.2026 and on 24.01.2026, respectively.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has handed over

the Status Report, which refers to the statement made by the wife of the appellant/accused, who states that no arrangements have been made for observing the anniversary as stated in the application. My attention is also drawn to the criminal antecedents of the appellant/accused.
