1. The present application has been filed on behalf of the appellant under Sections 528 and 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking release of the appellant on interim bail for a period of two weeks to attend the last rites and prayer meet of his demised father.
2. Issue notice.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State.
4. Heard both sides.
5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent/State has verified the fact that the father of the appellant/accused passed away on 31.12.2025.
6. Hence, keeping in view the aforesaid circumstances, the appellant/accused is granted interim bail for a period of two weeks starting from 12.01.2026 to 26.01.2026 on the appellant executing a personal bond of ₹25,000/- with two solvent sureties of the like amount each, subject to the satisfaction of the trial court, on the following
