1. Application is allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

3. The present application has been filed on behalf of the appellant/applicant seeking condonation of delay of 117 days in filing the appeal. Delay condoned.

5. The present appeal is filed under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 to set aside the impugned Judgment and Order dated 24.05.2025 passed by the learned District Judge-02, East, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi in LAC bearing no. 32/2016 (Old Nos.388/1984, M-6/1994, 331/1/06, 26/1/2007 & 17/1/2011/08 titled Sh. Lakhpat thr his legal heirs v. Union of India & Anr. in respect of Award bearing No.79/1982-83 pertaining to the Village ‘Dallupura, Delhi’.
6. Issue notice.
7. Notice is accepted by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.7/DDA, who appears on advance notice.
8. Issue fresh notice to respondent Nos.1 to 6, on the appellant taking appropriate steps within a period of two weeks, through all permissible modes.
9. List the matter before the Joint Registrar (Judicial) for completion of service on 12th February, 2026.
10. List the matter before the Court on 07th April, 2026.
CM APPL. 485/2026 (Stay)
11. The present application has been filed under Order 41 Rule 5 and Section 151 CPC seeking following prayers;
A) Ad interim order staying the operation of the impugned order, judgment and decree dated 24.05.2025 passed in L.A.C. no. 32/2016 pending disposal of the appeal;
B) An ex-parte interim order in terms of prayer (a) above and to confirm the same after notice to the Respondents;
12. It is submitted by Ld. Counsel for the appellant/applicant that entire decretal amount has already been deposited with the Registrar General of this Court on 19.03.2010 vide Cheque No.708625 dated 16.03.2010 for an amount of Rs.1,11,65,866/-.
13. In view of the above, the operation of the impugned judgment and order dated 24.05.2025 shall remain stayed till the next date of hearing.
14. The application stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
