“1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, a Belgium citizen and an academician, asserting that he has been stranded in India for over a period of two months post expiration of his e-visa, despite no fault of his own. It is submitted that the petitioner has not been able to secure an exit permit from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and that

the denial of the same is wholly arbitrary and untenable.
