The present contempt petition has been filed by the Petitioner Society under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Sections 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, inter alia, seeking directions against the ex-President – Mr. Sanjay Kumar Mehra, who continues to interfere in the activities of the Petitioner Society-Revant Multistate CGHS Limited (hereinafter, ‘the Society’), despite the orders passed by this Court and despite the new Ad-hoc Committee having been constituted for the management of the Society.
