1. By way of present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR bearing no. 370/2017, registered at Police Station Kalkaji, Delhi for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 287/304A/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter ‘IPC’).

2. The petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present before this Court and have been identified by their counsels and concerned Investigating Officer (IO) from Police Station Kalkaji, Delhi.

Briefly stated, facts of the present case are that petitioner no. 1 was carrying out constructions work on his property and, on 04.08.2017, the son of respondent nos. 2 and 3 died due to accidental electrocution at the construction site.
