1. This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:

“i) For issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction to the State Bank of India to reverse the entry i.e. repay in the account from which it was received the amount (the petitioner is ready to execute indemnity if so required).

ii) For issuance of interim orders to transfer the funds to an interest bearing time deposit of 2 years.”

2. The facts are that the petitioner was to pay a sum of Rs. 15 lakhs to M/s Vardhman Agencies on account of business dealings. However, the petitioner paid the amount online and erroneously credited the amount in the account of Jagdamba Trading Company/TWICLO Tours & Packages maintained with SBI, G.T. Karnal Road, branch New Delhi, on 17.02.2023.
