2. The Plaintiff is a part of the Inter IKEA Group, and is the owner of the IKEA Concept and IKEA Retail System. It is engaged in the business of well-designed, functional and affordable home furnishing products, accessories, stationery, running and managing retail stores, restaurant services and much more, all of which are carried out under the trademark IKEA and [‘Plaintiffs mark’].

3. The mark IKEA was adopted by the Plaintiff in 1995 as an essential and integral part of its domain name www.ikea.com, which has been accessible to people around the world inculding India, since 1998.
