1. The present petition has been filed assailing the impugned order dated 06.12.2025 whereby the appeal preferred by the petitioner against the order of conviction dated 06.07.2024 under Section 138 of NI Act and order on sentence dated 24.08.2024, was dismissed.

2. The learned Trial Court after convicting the petitioner for the offence under Section 138 of NI Act had sentenced him to pay a fine of Rs. 3,36,632/- to be paid to the complainant as compensation within a period of 60 days from the date of pronouncement of the order on sentence, failing which it was directed that the petitioner shall undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one month.

3. Mr. Javed Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the complainant/respondent in the complaint was that the petitioner/accused had approached the complainant for availing a loan facility for purchase of a vehicle.
