1. This petition has been filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter ‘Act’), seeking appointment of a Sole Arbitrator for the adjudication of the disputes between the parties arising out of Agreement No. 23/EE/Edu.Maint.Div.(South)/PWD/2018-19 (hereinafter ‘Agreement’).

2. The petitioner was awarded a contract for ‘construction of additional classrooms at SBV Yogi Arvind, GGSSS Tigri, GGSSS No 2 Sector-5 Ambedkar Nagar, Ishani G-Block Saket, SKV MB Road Pushp Vihar, New Delhi’.

3. Since there were disputes between the parties on account of non- payment of the outstanding dues by the respondent, the petitioner sent several notices to the respondent including the notice dated 7^th April 2025, invoking the aforesaid arbitration clause under Section 21 of the Act.
