1. The present petition was disposed of on 06.09.2024, with the following directions:

“7. Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is of the considered opinion that matter does not call for interference at this stage,sinceFSL report is still awaited.Petitioners shall beat libertyto filethepetitionafresh incasetheFSL report corroborates their stand.

Investigating Agency is accordingly directed to take necessary steps for forwarding necessary communication to the Director, FSL for expediting the FSL report in a time bound manner, with an outer limit of 60days fromthedateof passingof this order.

Petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any,also standdisposedof.

Nothing stated herein shall tantamount toexpression of opinion onthemerits of thecase.”

2. CRL.M.A. 38762/2024 and CRL.M.A. 30792/2025 have since been filed by the petitioners, seeking directions to the State to file the Forensic Science Laboratory [“FSL”] report expeditiously. A communication dated 15.01.2026 has been received by this Court from the FSL, stating that the FSL report shall be ready by 28.02.2026.

3. In view of the above, no further orders are required in these applications.

4. The applications stand disposed of, without prejudice to the rights and remedies of the petitioners.

CRL.M.C. 3994/2025 & CRL.M.A. 4612/2026 (for impleadment)

1. Issue notice in CRL.M.A. 4612/2026. Mr. Ajay Vikram Singh, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, accepts notice on behalf of the State. Mr. Chetanya Puri, learned Senior Panel Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 2 and 3.
