2. The present petition has been filed by the Petitioner under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking issuance of an appropriate writ directing the Respondent No.1- Registrar Cooperative Society (hereinafter, ‘RCS’) to quash and set-aside the election notice dated 28th January, 2026 issued by the Mr. Bijender Singh Kardam i.e., the Returning Officer (hereinafter, ‘RO’).

3. The case of the Petitioner is that he is a member of the Prabhavi CGHS Ltd. (hereinafter, ‘Society’) situated at Plot No. 29B, Sector- 10, Dwarka, Delhi-110075.

4. The elections for the Managing Committee of the Society were called earlier on 28^th April, 2024. However, the same were cancelled by the RO in vie
