O R D E R

1. The present petition, filed under Section 34 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, challenges the Award dated 22.08.2024.

2. Reply stands filed on behalf of the Respondent.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, on instructions, submits that they do not wish to file a Rejoinder.

4. Learned counsel for the parties seek and are granted two weeks time to file their Written Submissions in accordance with the practice directions issued by this Court.

5. In the interregnum, Registry is directed to requisition the entire Arbitral record, which shall be indexed and bookmarked including documents consisting thereof, and be placed in the Court’s record, before the next date of hearing.

6. The present petition, filed under Section 36 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeks execution of the Arbitral Award dated 22.08.2024.

7. Learned counsel appearing for the Decree Holder submits that since there is no stay on the operation of the Award, the Judgment Debtor should deposit the decretal amount, subject to which this Court may stay the operation of the award.

8. Learned counsel for the Judgment Debtor on instructions submits that they will ensure that the decretal amount, in the form of Demand Draft, is deposited with the worthy the Registrar General of this Court and which should be converted into a Fixed Deposit automatically within a period of (08) eight weeks from today.

9. The operation of the Award, subject to the said deposit, will remain stayed.
