O R D E R

1. Learned counsel appearing for the Delhi Subordinate Staff Selection Board (‘DSSSB’) submits that the result of the selection process/examination for the post of Veterinary Livestock Inspector was declared on 21st May, 2026 and the same has been forwarded to the user department, which is now required to take further steps for expeditious appointment of the officers to the said post.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the Department of Animal Husbandry states that the process for issuance of appointment orders, post police verification and completion of other formalities, shall be done within a period of six weeks from today.

3. The aforesaid statement is accepted and the same shall be treated as an order of this Court. All stakeholder departments, including the Police Department and others who are required to extend cooperation to the animal husbandry department, shall follow the aforesaid timeline.

4. As regards the selection and appointment to the posts of multi-tasking staff pursuant to the requisition forwarded by the Department to the DSSSB, learned counsel for the DSSSB states that, in any case, the exam process shall be completed by 15th September, 2026 and the results
