Date : 23-10-2024 Heard Mr. M.U. Mondal, learned counsel for the writ petitioner.

Perused the averments made in the writ petition.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he had participated in the selection process for recruitment of Constable (GD) in the Central Armed Forces conducted during the year, 2022. However, on the sole ground that his bio-matrix was not matching with the other records, the petitioner has been denied appointment. Hence, this writ petition.

Ms. S. Baruah, learned CGC, Assam prays for some time to obtain instruction in the matter.

Issue notice returnable on 13-11-2024.

Since Ms. Baruah has accepted notice on behalf of all the respondents, no formal notice is required to be sent in this case.

Extra copies of the writ petition, requisite in numbers, be furnished to the learned CGC within 02 days from today.

Heard on the prayer of interim relief.

The said prayer will be considered on the returnable date.

It is, however, made clear that the vacancy claimed by the petitioner, if filled up during the pendency of this writ petition, shall abide by the further order(s), if any, that may be passed in this proceeding.
