Date : 10.09.2024 Case taken up before the Lawazima Court.

Learned counsel Ms. P. Sarma appears on behalf of Mr. T.J. Mahanta, learned counsel for the petitioner.

Perused the records.

On a perusal of the office note dated 10.09.2024 reveals that notice was issued to the respondent Nos. 4, 10, 14 and 18 by usual process on 13.02.2020.

Now, in regard to the aforesaid notice, it appears that the service report of respondent No. 14 has been received, wherein, it has been stated that the respondent No. 14 has left the present address and now living at National Highway Road, Silchar under Cachar District. As such, the petitioner is directed to obtain instructions regarding the present address of the respondent No. 14.

Further, as far as the respondent Nos. 4, 10 & 18 are concerned, it appears that the process server’s report have not been received by the concerned section till date. As such, it may be presumed that service of notice upon the respondent Nos. 4, 10 & 18 has not been affected as of yet.

Hence, in view of the power conferred upon the Lawazima Court by the Division Bench (Comprising of Hon’ble the then Chief Justice (Acting), Mr. N. Kotiswar Singh and Hon’ble Mr. Justice Manis
