Date : 27.09.2024 Heard Mr. R. K. D. Choudhury, learned Deputy SGI, appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K. Gogoi, representing the sole respondent.

2. The petitioner has filed this application u/s 482 Cr.P.C., 1973, praying for a direction to the respondent to furnish the details and the documents pertaining to Aadhaar numbers of the persons issued in their names, vide para 6 of the petition, in connection with FIR No. RC-01/2023/NIA/GUW (Human Trafficking Case) dated 06/10/2023 u/s 120B/121A/153A(1)/ 153B/465/471/295A/109/370 of IPC and section 12(1)(a), 12(1A)(a)(b), 12(2) of Passport Act, 1967, arising out of STF, P.S., Guwahati case No. 12/2023 dated 09/09/2023.

3. The aforesaid case is pertaining to trafficking of large number of Bangladeshi nationals and Rohingyas from Bangladesh to India through Indo- Bangladesh border in the States of Tripura, Assam and West Bengal. During investigation, the NIA arrested 33 accused persons from different parts of the country. The investigation is being conducted against many others who are part of the human trafficking operating from Bangladesh and in various places in India.
