This application under section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is preferred by accused, namely, Mannaf Ali @ Bauna who was arrested on 03.06.2024 in connection with Mukalmua PS Case No.144/2024 under sections 13(1) of Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021.

The petitioner was arrested on 03.06.2024 and he is behind the bars since then.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
