Date : 23-06-2022 Heard Mr. P. Taffo, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D.

Kamduk, learned Standing Counsel, Land Management Department, representing respondent No. 1; Mr. D. Soki, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate representing respondent Nos. 2 & 3; and Mr. M. Kato, learned ASGI representing respondent No. 4.

Though this writ petition has been filed with various prayers relating to the non-payment of compensation to the petitioner pursuant to the compensation finalized in terms of Notification, dated 05.03.2021, issued by the Commissioner, Land Management, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, vide Memo No. LM- 170/2021/2525, under Section 10 of the Balipara/Tirap/Sadiya Frontier Tract Jhum Land Regulation, 1947, for acquiring land from Lada to Basai for construction of Indo China Border Road, Mr. P. Taffo, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner would be contended if they are furnished with the quantum of compensation finally assessed and settled for payment insofar as the people of Sachung Village is concerned in terms of the aforesaid Notification, dated 05.03.2021, issued for acquiring the land mentioned therein.

The prayer of the petitioner being limited in nature, Mr. D. Soki, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, submits that the respondent authorities would have no issue in providing the compensation assessed in terms of the Notification, dated 05.03.2021, for onward payment to the people of Sachung Village.

In view of above and as agreed to by the learned counsels appearing for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of motion hearing itself with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, East Kameng District, Seppa, respondent No. 2 herein, to furnish the quantum of compensation finally assessed for onward payment to the people of Sachung Village in terms of Notification, dated 05.03.2021, issued by the Commissioner, Land Management, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar, vide Memo No. LM-170/2021/2525, within a period of 1 (one) week from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
