Date : 22-06-2020 Heard Mr. T. Son, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and also heard Mr. O. Pada, learned Special Pubic Prosecutor representing the SIC(Vigilance), State of Arunachal Pradesh.

This is an application under Section 438 of Cr.P.C, 1973 praying for granting of anticipatory bail to the accused/petitioner in connection with SIC (VIG) P.S. case No.03/20, under sections 468/469/471/120(B) of IPC, read with section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. The allegation against the accused who is a Statistical Officer under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh is that she had acted as a broker for collecting money from candidates who appeared in the competitive examination held for the post of LDC by APSSB in the year 2020.

Mr. T. Son, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the accused/petitioner is a patient of Gouty Arthritis and also of heart ailment. Therefore, she was admitted in Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences on 17.06.2020, and she has been advised to go outside the State for further investigations and treatment.
