2. Petitioner assails order/opinion dated 28.04.2017 passed by the Foreigners’

th Tribunal (5 ) Darrang, Mangaldai in Case No. F.T.(V) 571/2016, declaring the petitioner to be a foreigner/illegal migrant of post 25.03.1971.

3. Petitioner Shahamat Ali, who is described as Shahamat Hussain in the proceedings before the Tribunal, claims one Late Hussain Ali as his father, Koriman Nessa as his mother, Soriful Nessa as his wife and one Late Sadar as his grandfather. Consequent upon service of notice, the petitioner appeared, filed written statement, examined himself and another as D.W.-1 and D.W.-2 and also produced and exhibited as many as 10 (ten) documents. The particulars of the said documents being of utmost significance in deciding the present case, the same are mentioned in seriatim -
