Heard Mr. S.K. Goswami, the learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. G.P. Bhowmik, learned senior counsel, assisted by Ms. M. Kalita, the learned counsel for the respondent.

2) By this application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has assailed (i) the order dated 13.12.2019, passed by the learned Civil Judge, Dhubri in Misc. Appeal No. 15/2019, thereby dismissing the appeal, and (ii) the order dated 01.10.2019, passed by the learned Munsiff No.1, Dhubri in T.S. No.47/1989.

3) It is submitted at the outset by the learned senior counsel for the respondents that the instant suit was instituted in the year 1989 and, as such, the suit was now 31 years old at the trial stage, as such, the matter be heard and disposed of at the earliest to prevent any further delay. Therefore, on such submission, the matter was heard at length.
