ORDER
Date : 01.05.2025 Heard Mr. P.K. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner.
This Court after hearing the parties on several occasion, having found that the BRTF has deposited the compensation amount before the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, which has been duly acknowledged by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar and the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar has taken the stand that no amount of compensation has been deposited by the BRTF, directed the learned State Counsel Mr. S.R. Baruah, learned counsel appearing for the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar to obtain instruction.
Today Mr. B.J. Talukdar, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate submits that although the communication has been made to the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, he is yet to receive the instruction as sought for by this Court on 20.03.2025.
Having considered the stand taken by the Deputy Commissioner, on oath, further 3 (three) weeks time is granted as a last opportunity to place the instruction as sought by this Court.
List the matter after 3 (three) weeks as part-heard.
