02.02.2026 Heard Mr. T. Sk, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Dutta, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents in Secondary Education Department.

Mr. Dutta has produced one letter, dated 13.01.2026, of the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam addressed to the Director of Secondary Education, Assam and the Director of Elementary Education, Assam, seeking some information and he also submits that on receipt of the said information, the authority will examine that whether, the present petitioner is similarly situated with the petitioner in WP(C) No. 7318/2023 or not, and he prays for listing the matter after 4 (four)

weeks.
