2. This is an application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused/petitioner, namely, Sri Abhijit Gogoi who is apprehending arrest in connection with Dhemaji P.S. Case No. 45/2026

It is submitted by Mr. Das, learned counsel that the present petitioner was discharging his duty as a police officer and at the relevant point of incident/accident, he was entrusted with the investigation and accordingly he investigated and the charge sheet was also filed against one driver of a WagonR vehicle.
