Date : 20-03-2026 Mr. S. Bora, learned counsel for the respondent has reiterated the submission made by him.

However, Mr. M.J. Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner submits in terms of the exercise directed to be carried out by this Court vide order dated 26-11-2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 7257/2021, the Commissioner, GMC was to carry out necessary process of verification to identify persons who can vend within the inner railing of the Fancy Bazar, GMC Market and to take steps for eviction of those persons who have illegally trespassed inside the campus of inner railing of the Fancy Bazar, GMC Market. He submits that said verification process would result in identification of persons who belong to two categories, i.e. highlighted hereinabove. However, he submits that the names of the persons who have been placed in the above two categories have not been furnished to him and he prays that the respondent’s counsel furnish to him the said list of names of persons placed in the above two categories.

Mr. Bora shall furnish the list to the learned counsel for the petitioner on or before
