Heard Mr. A. K. Purkayastha, learned counsel, appearing for the applicant.

2. The present interlocutory application has been instituted praying for correction of the name of the opposite party no.5 in the cause title of the connected writ petition being WP(C).615/2026.

3. In the cause title of the connected writ petition, the name of the respondent no.5 has been reflected as “Smti. Kanika Patar”. However, Mr. A. K. Purkayastha, submits that her actual name is “Smti. Kanika Pathak”. 4. Mr. B. J. Talukdar, learned Senior Counsel, appearing for the State Respondents, submits that he has no objection in correction of the name of the respondent no.5 as sought for by the learned counsel for the applicant.

5. In view of the above, the name of the respondent no.5 being inadvertently wrongly typed out in the cause title of the connected writ petition, this Court is of the considered view that the same would be permissible to be corrected by the applicant, herein.

6. Accordingly, the name of the respondent no.5, as appearing in the cause title of the connected writ petition be corrected as “Smti. Kanika Pathak”.

7. With the above observations and directions, the present interlocutory application stands disposed of.
