ORAL ORDER
1. RULE. Learned APP waives rule for the Respondent State.
2. By way of these applications under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as “ Cr.P.C .”), the applicants have prayed to quash and set aside the complaint/FIR being CR No.11822019200247 of 2020 registered with Navsari Town Police Station, District: Navsari for the offences punishable under Sections 354A, 504, 506(2) and 114 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 as well as all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom.
3. Brief facts of the case are that the complainant (Opponent No. 2) has alleged that in 2018, when the present applicant was in Canada, Accused No. 2, Jitendra Patel, insulted Opponent No. 2 regarding her work and that there was no safety for her on the job. It is further alleged that, due to differences with her husband, Accused No. 2, Jitendra Patel, outraged her modesty. Additionally, in the first week of December 2019, Opponent No. 2 received a phone call from LCB Police Station, Navsari, concerning an application submitted by Geetaben Patel
