1. Heard learned advocate for the appellants and perused the record.

2. The present appeal is directed against the judgment and order dated 13.12.2023 passed by the learned Single Judge in dismissing the writ petition noticing that the writ petition, out of which the present appeal has arisen, was a second round of litigation initiated by the petitioners, whose father filed a writ petition namely Special Civil Application No. 25045 of 2006, the dispute arisen out of which has been taken up to the Apex Court.

2. There is no dispute about the fact that the SCA No. 25045 of 2006 was filed by the father of the petitioners seeking relief of deletion of the revenue entry No. 4796 made in the name of the State of Gujarat, as a result of the proceedings drawn under the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976 (for short " the ULC Act"). The said writ petition was dismissed on 17.7.2007 by the learned Single Judge whereafter in the Letters Patent Appeal No. 1445 of 2008, the petitioners herein have also been substituted due to death of their father and they conducted the proceedings.
