1. Heard Mr. Jal Unwala, learned Senior Advocate with Ms. Tejal Vashi, leaned advocate for the applicants and Mr. Mehta, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State. The applicants were tried for committing offence punishable under Sections 304(A) and 114 of the Indian Penal Code . By the judgment and order dated 08.12.2017 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Chikhli in Criminal Case No.881 of 2013, the applicants were convicted for the offence under Sections 304(A) and 114 of the Indian Penal Code and was directed to undergo sentence of one year simple imprisonment with fine of Rs.50,000/- (Rs.25,000 to each of the applicant) and in default of payment of compensation, to undergo further simple imprisonment of one month.
2. Aggrieved of their conviction and sentence, the applicants have filed appeal before the learned 3rd Additional District & Sessions Judge, Navsari, which was registered as Criminal Appeal No.45 of 2017. The said appeal was dismissed. Hence, this revision application under Section 397 read with Section 401 of the Indian Penal Code .
