ORAL ORDER
1. By way of preferring present application, the applicant has invoked extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying for quashing of the FIR being C.R.No.II-463 of 2019, registered with Mahidharpura Police Station, Surat for the offences punishable under Sections 504, 506(2), and 114 of the Indian Penal Code and consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR.
2. The case of the prosecution can be summarized as under:
2.1. The respondent No.2 - original complainant has lodged the FIR in question, inter alia, alleging that on 07.06.2019, the applicant accused came to his house at about 6:00 O'clock and informed the complainant that due to his complaint, externment proceedings came to be initiated against the accused. The accused, therefore, administered threat to the complainant to withdraw his complaint otherwise he will have to face the consequences. The accused also administered threat to kill the complainant and if the order of externment is passed against the accused, it would be difficult for the complainant to live in Surat.
