1. This writ petition is filed seeking following relief:

“12(A)That Your Lordships will be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, or order directing the respondents to provide alternative accommodation under any housing scheme framed by the government for EWS and urban poor before eviction to each of the hutment dwellers listed in Annexure-A residing near Bapunagar General Hospital, adjoining the road from Limda Chowk to Machhchhi Market in Saraspur-Rakhial Ward (forming part of Final T.P. Scheme No.11 (Bapunagar) Ahmedabad City as has been provided to the other similarly situated hutment dwellers under the housing scheme for urban poor framed by the government.”

2. The petitioner who is a practicing advocate and claiming to be a social worker and political activist is contending, inter alia, that he has no personal interest in this petition and he is seeking for the policy of the Government being implemented for rehabilitation of the slum dwellers who would be affected due to road widening contending that they are required to be rehabilitated as sou
