Heard learned advocate Mr.Amit C. Nanavati for the appellants – original claimants and learned advocate Mr.Sunil B. Parikh, learned advocate Mr.Dakshesh Mehta and learned advocate Mr.Varun G. Rai for the respective respondents.

2. The present Appeal under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act , 1988 is directed against judgment and award dated 13th March, 2014 passed by learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (Aux.) Kheda at Nadiad in Motor Accident Claims Petition No.1288 of 2011. 2.1 The claim petition of the claimants was partly allowed. The claimants were held entitled to recover Rs.04,27,000/- with proportionate cost and interest at the rate of 7.5%, for which the opponents were were held jointly and severally liable. The Tribunal also passed the order of investment.

2.2 The present Appeal is preferred by the original claimant seeking enhancement in the amount of compensation. The claim in Appeal is restricted to Rs.02.00 lakhs. 3.
