1. The present Special Civil Application has been filed challenging the order dated 14.03.2024 in C.M.A. No.31 of 2023 being review application under Order 47 Rule 1 of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 . In the present case, the impugned order is passed against the Land Acquisition Reference Case whereby the petitioners claimants had challenged the award passed by the Land Acquisition Officer in Land Acquisition Case No.1 of 1999. The case of the petitioners is that, the Land Acquisition Officer has not awarded proper compensation for the land acquired, inasmuch as the Land Acquisition Officer awarded Rs.2.04 per sq. mt. for the land when similarly situated lands which were acquired 15 years before were awarded compensation at the rate of Rs.3.48 per sq. mt.
