1. By the present Writ Petition, the petitioner has prayed for direction to renew the passport to the petitioner for a period of 10 years.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an FIR being CR No. III-443 of 2019 came to be lodged against the petitioner and others with the Nadiad Town Police Station, Kheda for the offences punishable under Sections 65E, 123(1)(a), 81, 84, 85, 86, 90 and 66(1)(B) of the Prohibition Act.
