1. Rule. Learned AGP waives service of notice of rule on behalf of the respondents.

2. By the present writ petition, the petitioner prays for an appropriate writ or direction to respondent No.2 to issue a fresh birth certificate after making necessary correction in the date of birth and the father’s name of the petitioner.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is born on 01.10.1971 and the father’s name of the petitioner is Patel Kachrabhai Ishwardas, however in the book of the Birth Register, the date of birth has been mentioned as 29.10.1971 and the father’s name has been mentioned as Patel Kachrabhai Ishwarbhai.
