1. Present petition is filed by the applicant seeking regularization of period of late surrender after his release on parole by virtue of an order dated 15.03.2023 passed in Special Criminal Application No. 3245 of 2023, which was extended by an order dated

06.04.2023.

2. A perusal of the jail remarks reveals that jail punishment for such a default is already yet to be imposed by the competent authority.

3. Accordingly, this petition is hereby disposed of reserving liberty in favour of the petitioner, as observed by the Division Bench of this Court in the decision rendered in Criminal Misc. Application No. 1360 of 2014 in Criminal Appeal No. 2884 of 2008 dated 04.02.2014, to move the concerned jail authority seeking

0.9413788178332327 condonation of such delay in surrendering and directing the authority concerned to decide such an application, if preferred, in accordance with law.
