ORAL ORDER

1. The applicant herein has preferred the present application praying for temporary bail for 30 days in view of his son’s marriage which is being solemnised on 23.04.2026. The pre-marriage rituals are beginning from 21.04.2026.

2. The original complainant though informed by the concerned police station, has chosen not to remain present before this Court.

3. Heard learned Advocate for the Applicant and learned APP for the Respondent – State.

4. RULE. Learned APP waives service of notice of Rule on behalf of the respondent-State.

5. Learned APP has placed on record the jail report from wherein, it transpires that the applicant has never been released on temporary bail till date, and his conduct within the jail premises also appears to be good.

6. Considering the ground mentioned in the Application, this Court is of the opinion that the present application requires consideration and the same is therefore partly allowed. The Applicant is ordered to be released on temporary bail for a period of 7 Days from the date of actual release on the Applicant’s furnishing a personal bond of Rs.25000/- with a surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail authority, on usual terms and conditions which shall be decided by the concerned Jail Authority. The applicant shall mark his presence on every alternate day before the concerned police station. The Applicant shall surrender before the concerned jail authority on expiry of the temporary bail period.

7. This Court shall not entertain application for reduction of amount of personal bond and surety.

8. The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. It is hereby clarified that no further extension shall be granted. Rule is made absolute accordingly. Direct service is permitted.
