Notice. Mr. Sidharth Jalta, learned Deputy Advocate General, appears and accepts service of notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. In view of the order proposed to be passed in the present petition, no reply is called for from the respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she made a

representation on 20.11.2025 (Annexure P-5), whereby sought her transfer from her present place of posting i.e. G.P.S. Chandwa, Education Block Kupvi, District Shimla (Hard Area) to a soft area within District Sirmaur, near her hometown, under the 5% Inter-District Transfer Policy. f

Learned counsel representing the petitioner has submitted that earlier the petitioner had approached this Hon’ble Court andu vide order dated 02.08.2023 (Annexure P-3), this Court had directed the respondents to decide the representation made by her. However, keeping in view the fact that the policy regarding Inter-District Transfer of JBT and C&V Teachers was kept in abeyance, her request was not acceded to.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that at present, the competent authority is considering the cases of the persons, who are seeking Inter-District Transfers.

6. Keeping in view the submissions made by the petitioner coupled with the fact that the transfer policy is now in existence, respondent No.2/Competent Authority is directed to decide the representation made by the petitioner within a period of four weeks.

7. Needless to say, that the grievance raised by the petitioner be considered sympathetically, keeping in view the fact that she had earlier also approacfhed this Hon’ble Court.

8. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
