This appeal filed by the assessee is directed against the order dated

30.01.2024 passed u/s 263 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) by the Ld. PCIT, Pune-3 relating to assessment year 2019-20.

2. Facts of the case, in brief, are that the assesse is a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) registered under the Companies Act, 1956 and engaged in the business of providing loans and advances. It filed its return of income on 30.10.2019 declaring total income of Rs.5345,39,24,170/-. The assessee subsequently revised the return on 30.11.2020 declaring total income of Rs.5301,77,46,430/-. The case was selected for scrutiny under CASS on the following issues:
