1. Vide detention Order No. 08/DMK/PSA of 2025 dated 30.04.2025 (‘impugned order’ for short) passed by respondent No.2-District Magistrate, Kupwara, the petitioner was ordered to be detained under preventive custody in terms of Section-8(1)(a)(i) of J&K Public Safety Act, 1978 ( ‘the Act’ for short) with a view to prevent him from acting in any manner detrimental to the ‘security of UT of J&K’.
