JUDGMENT

1. By way of the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner seeks quashment of Detention Order No. 10/DMP/PSA/25 dated 30.04.2025 passed by the respondent No.2- District Magistrate, Pulwama under Section 8 of the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act, 1978 (for short “PSA”), whereby the detenue has been placed under preventive detention in order to deter him to act in a manner prejudicial to the ‘security of the State’.
