JUDGMENT
This appeal is preferred by the claimants challenging the judgment and award dated 23.10.2019 passed by the Senior Civil Judge and Additional MACT, Sira (for short ‘the Tribunal’) in MVC.No.1225/2018. This appeal is founded on the premise of inadequacy of compensation. Hence, the appellants seek enhancement of compensation.
2. Though this matter is listed for admission, with consent of the learned counsel for the parties, it is taken up for final disposal.
3. Parties to the appeal shall be referred to as per their status before the Tribunal.
4. Brief facts of the case are as under:
That on 04.08.2018 at about 8.30 p.m., the deceased D.Vishwantha, was the pedestrian walking by the High School under the bridge at Tavarekere, was hit by a Tractor and Trailer unit bearing Registration No.KA.40.TA.4425 and KA.64.T.1729, due to the rash and negligent driving by the driver of the tractor.
