JUDGMENT

This appeal is by the convicted accused, directed against the judgment of conviction and order of sentence passed in S.C.No.69/2012 dated 21.11.2016 by the I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Bagalkot (sitting at Jamakhandi). Wherein, the learned Sessions Judge convicted accused Nos.1 and 2 for the offences punishable under Section 323 , 324, 307 r/w Section 34 of IPC and sentenced accused No.1 to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 1 year and shall pay fine of Rs.1,000/- and in default of payment of fine to further undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 3 months for the offence punishable under Section 323 of IPC. Further, accused No.2 sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 2 years and to pay fine of Rs.3,000/- and in default of payment of fine, he shall further undergo simple imprisonment for 6 months for the offence punishable under Section 324 of IPC.
