ORDER
1. These petitions are filed under Sections 438 and 439 of Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail as well as regular bail in Mysuru South Police Station Crime No.298/2023 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 341, 323, 504, 307 read with Section 149 of Indian Penal Code, on the file of Prl. Civil Judge (Sr. Dn.)
CJM Court, Mysuru City.
2. The Crl. P. No.1248/2024 is filed by accused No.1 seeking anticipatory bail, while the Crl.P. No.1256/2024 is filed by the petitioners who are arraigned as accused Nos.6 and 7, seeking regular bail under Section 439 of Cr.P.C.
3. The brief factual matrix leading to the case are as under:
That there were certain issues between accused No.1 and complainant, and in the year 2021, at the time of Ganapati festival, the complainant is said to have assaulted a person who is supporter of accused No.1. It is also alleged that brother of the complainant has also married to a relative of accused No.1 who was studying in B.E. It was a love marriage and as such the relationship was strained.
