Heard Sri Yash R.Nadakarni, advocate representing Sri Vitthal S. Teli, advocate for appellant and Sri Rajesh B. Rajanal, advocate for respondents.
2. Claimant’s appeal seeking enhancement of compensation awarded in MVC No.1565/2010 dated 26.08.2013 on the file of MACT and Prl. District Judge, Belagavi, in respect of road traffic accident occurred on 24.02.2010 at 8.45 am involving motor cycle bearing registration No.KA-22/EC-7356 and the truck bearing registration No.KA-37/4777.
3. Claim petition was resisted by filing necessary written statement. The Tribunal, after considering the oral and documentary evidence placed on record, awarded compensation in a sum of Rs.1,83,331/-, as under:
| Towards pain and suffering | Rs.30,000/- |
| Towards loss of future income to the petitioner | Rs.1,16,640/- |
| Towards future medical expenses | Rs.10,000/- |
| Towards attendant charges, nourishment and conveyance charges | Rs.10,000/- |
| Towards loss of future comfort and happiness. | Rs.10,000/- |
| Towards medical expenses | Rs.6,691/- |
| TOTAL | Rs.1,83,331/- |
4. Being not satisfied with the quantum of compensation awarded, claimant is in appeal.
