ORAL ORDER

In this petition, petitioners seek the following relief:

Quash the entire proceedings in C.C.No.3980/2024 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class (Traffic Court - IV) Bengaluru for the offence punishable unde rSectiosn 79, 80 of Karnataka Police Act, 1963 in the interest of justice.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional State Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1 and perused the materials on record.

Perusal of the material on record would indicate that as per the impugned complaint registered as F.I.R., in Crime No.224/2024 dated 15.06.2024 as well as seizure panchanama of even date, petitioners were said to be playing the game andar bahar at House No.80, IDBI Layout, 2^nd Cross, Gottigere, thereby committing offences punishable under Sections 79 and 80 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963 (for short 'K.P.Act') which is a non-cognizable offence.
