KADATAL BASAVVA W/O. MAHADEVAPPA – Appellant
Versus
THE STATE OF KARNATAKA DEPARTMENT OF INDUSTRIES & COMMERCE – Respondent

Headnote:(A) Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board Act, 1966 - Sections 28(1) and 28(4) - Writ petitions filed challenging preliminary and final notifications regarding land acquisition - Petitioners sought quashing of notifications and compensation under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 - Court found excessive delay in final notification issuance and ruled that possession remained with petitioners, thus quashing notifications.
