ORAL ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayers:

a) Issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other appropriate order, quashing the order passed by the learned trial judge dated 24.01.2025, dismissing the application of the petitioner seeking direction to Respondent to reissue petitioner's passport, produced at Annexure A, as against his File No.BN4077175208124.

b) Issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate order directing the Respondent to reissue a Short-Validity passport to the petitioner for a period of one year, to enable him to perform his Umrah and Hajj.

c) Issue such other relief/s as is deemed fit to grant in favour of the petitioner by this Hon'ble Court in view of the facts and circumstances of the cases, in the interest of justice."
